COUNTRY CLUBS
Following are the major clubs in the area offering memberships for golf, tennis, and/or fitness.  All fees shown are as of December 2010 and are provided to give you a general sense of cost.  Many may have changed since that point in time so please call for more current information.

PEBBLE BEACH

Offers dining, swimming pool and private beach, fitness classes, and tennis. Non-refundable fee of $47,500 required to open membership. Memberships are non-transferable and non-divisible. Only general memberships are available. Monthly dues are $265.

Golf, tennis, 75-foot heated lap pool, fitness center, weight room and restaurant. Scottish link golf course. Condominiums nearby. Initiation fee is $18,000 and monthly dues are $230.

Full membership initiation fee is $225,000. This is a 50% equity membership. Must be sponsored by 2 Regular members and 2 members of any category. Approximate 6 months wait list. Monthly dues are $832. Social membership with limited golf privileges is available for $25,000 and $395 monthly dues with no wait list. Two elite golf courses, workout, and numerous dining facilities.

World famous exclusive private course on the Pebble Beach shoreline experienced by just a few. Cost of yearly membership is determined by equally dividing total operating expenses amongst all members.

CARMEL VALLEY

Full-service facility with 10 lighted tennis courts, aerobic and fitness center, lap pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Family and single memberships available (prices vary). Junior memberships also available.

400 acres with elite golf, tennis, club facilities, putting greens, cafe and pro shop. Fitness facilities. Different levels of membership.

Formerly known as Carmel Valley Golf & Country Club. Golf course, pool, and tennis facilities. Fees being restructured at press time.

MONTEREY
