As founder and owner of M. Forester Hagan Real Estate Group, Maria is a veteran known for representing clients from the San Francisco Bay Area south to the Monterey Coast. From 2012 to 2014 she affiliated with Sotheby’s International in Carmel and earned a spot on their Monterey County’s Top Producer’s Network. She’s consistently ranked in the top ten percent of agents nationwide, and is a member in good standing of TAN (Top Agent Network) Silicon Valley and Monterey County.
Maria is highly regarded for her impressive record of matching the right clients to the right properties quickly, both through public and private offerings. She’s successfully handled real estate referrals for her circle of clients in other regions, as well, including Virginia, Florida, Colorado, Arizona, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maine. Her candor and unflinching client advocacy combined with laser-sharp reasoning, and a marketing bias has resulted in lifelong clients. After thirty-five years of real estate practice, Maria possesses the knowledge, understanding and strategic expertise for today’s increasingly complex transactions.
Her early career as a marketing executive for a California 100 luxury home developer allowed her to assimilate and fine tune a deep understanding of housing markets, property asset development, mortgage markets and retail real estate marketing and sales. In addition to practicing real estate in the Monterey Bay and Silicon Valley areas, Maria has listed and closed homes and estates in the exclusive communities of Rancho Mirage, Pacific Palisades and Newport Beach, as well as, Woodside, Atherton, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Saratoga, and Monte Sereno.
Maria holds a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a long-standing member of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the Top Agent Networks of Silicon Valley and Monterey County. She is a dog-lover who can be found hiking or sketching along the Big Sur Coast with her husband and their two English Labs, Sam and Libby.
